Based in New York City, Dr. Joyce Liechenstein has spent a lifetime exploring the spiritual path. Along that road, she has investigated the teachings of most world religions and of wise thinkers from many spiritual traditions.

After earning a Master's degree in Religion from the New York Theological Seminary, she completed The New Seminary's program for Interfaith ministers. From 1987-2002, she was one of the Deans of The New Seminary and eventually Associate Director. As of June 30, 2002, she was appointed Associate Director of the One Spirit Learning Alliance, Ltd. and One Spirit Interfaith Seminary.

Dr. Liechenstein had psychoanalytic training and has studied a wide variety of counseling and healing tools. She conducts a private practice in Manhattan.
